About the Legislation

The One Big Beautiful Bill is comprehensive legislation passed in 2025 that includes significant changes to healthcare policy, taxes, and other areas. This website focuses specifically on the healthcare provisions and what they mean for Americans.
Different provisions take effect at different times. Some changes are immediate, while others phase in over months or years. See our Implementation Timeline on the Bill Overview page for specific effective dates.

Getting Help

We provide general educational information, not individual advice. For help with your specific situation, we recommend contacting a licensed insurance navigator, your State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), or a healthcare attorney or benefits counselor.
Start by contacting your insurance company directly. If you can't resolve the issue, contact your state's Department of Insurance or the federal Consumer Assistance Program. See our Resources page for links to these programs.
Visit HealthCare.gov during open enrollment to compare plans and see if you qualify for financial assistance. You can also contact a local navigator for free help (localhelp.healthcare.gov). See our Workarounds & Options page for additional strategies to find affordable care.
